Supplementary Health Insurance
Supplementary health insurance (SHI) is a type of insurance offered by private insurance companies, and it is voluntary.In order for SHI to be used by the insured; both the private hospital and the doctor must be contracted with the Social Security Administration (SSA), and the private hospital must have a contract with the insurance company.
With this type of insurance, the difference payments from hospital services such as examination, analysis, examination, hospitalization and surgeries are covered. Drug expenditures are not covered by SHI.
