Casco (Motor Own Damage) Insurance

Casco is a branch of insurance that covers the damages as a result of an accident, theft or attempted stealing of a vehicle. Unlike traffic insurance, this type of policy covers the damage of the policyholder's own vehicle partially or completely depending on the occurrence of the event. Unlike traffic insurance, casco is not compulsory.

Optionally, additional coverage(s) can be added to the policy to provide additional assurance for other risks that may be encountered.

The most important factors in the calculation of casco premium are listed below; besides, each insurance company calculates casco according to its own risk policy:

• Vehicle owner's accident history
• Casco value of the vehicle
• Province where the vehicle is located
